The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement within the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions before the game's launch, to players forming strong views on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being fun, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes Aries much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a powerful ally; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed passion for treats. Several previous official descriptions note their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this total queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham captivating an whole open area with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which sounds very similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is commonly considered as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for frequently becoming absorbed in their feelings. Per the official info, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. Well, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the fact that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion brings to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
